Hurricane Frances caused roof, exterior and interior damage to many of the units of this condominium community. The insurance company's adjuster inspected the damage and verbally offered approximately $200,000.00 to settle the claim. The association realized that the repair costs greatly exceeded that amount. After hiring Keith Grams of Tutwiler and Associates, Inc., a thorough damage assessment and several additional walk-throughs with insurance company experts, the claim was settled for more than three times the amount offered by the insurance company — more than $600,000.00.
