As a long-time leader in the public adjusting community, Tutwiler & Associates has always been a proponent of promoting the value and ethical practice of the public adjusting profession and has pioneered new organizations as well as taken leadership positions in many. The firm is also proud to partner with complimentary business partners who have the best interests of property insurance policyholders in mind. We also take active roles in related trade groups that represent our residential, condominium, commercial business, industrial, and government policyholders that we serve. We are happy to make ourselves availalbe to educate and speak to these groups about trends in property claims. 

The National Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (NAPIA) represents members who are experts in the profession of public insurance adjusting and have joined together for the express purpose of professional education, obtaining certification and promoting a rigid code of professional conduct and ethics. The organization represents the best interests of the public adjusting community throughout the United States. Tutwiler & Associates are recognized members of this national organization and Charles R. "Dick" Tutwiler has himself formerly served as a Director on the Board and conducted several seminar presentations for the NAPIA membership at their bi-annual meetings and at the First Party Claims Conference held every October in Providence, RI. The Windstorm Insurance Network or WIND is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to promote awareness of windstorm insurance issues through the application of educational initiatives, shared member resources, and technology designed to support and improve the professional delivery of windstorm-related insurance services. Tutwiler & Associates is a participating member of WIND. Charles R. "Dick" Tutwiler also has been pleased to serve as a Director on the Board of the Windstorm Insurance Network and is past President of the organization for 2004/2005. He is the recipient of the 2011 Presidential Recognition Award. The public adjusters from Tutwiler & Associates are regular presenters and trainers at Windstorm events. The Texas Association of Public Insurance Adjusters, or TAPIA, is an organization dedicated to protecting the interests of Texas insured home and business owners who have suffered property insurance losses. As public insurance adjusters who work on behalf of the insured policyholder, our focus is:

• Providing continuing education for public insurance adjusters
• Protecting the public insurance industry in Texas
• Protecting the rights of insurance consumers in Texas
• Upholding a strict code of ethics

Public insurance adjusters in Texas have joined together to form TAPIA to promote professionalism and ethics within the public adjusting industry, and to protect the rights of consumers who have sustained an insured property loss. The Florida Association of Public Insurance Adjusters (FAPIA) consists of members and associate members that have joined together for the express purpose of protecting the public and acting on their behalf as Consumer Advocates. To be considered for Membership, a person must be licensed Public Adjuster in the State of Florida. To be considered for an Associate Membership a person, company or firm must conduct business that serves the best interests of Insureds and not that of the Insurance Companies. Founded in 1973, the Massachusetts Association of Public Insurance Adjusters united for the purpose of ALL Public Adjusters to gain mutual understanding, protection, and preservation of the profession. We are here to serve, benefit, and protect the general public when dealing with property insurance claims. Our concern is to establish and maintain the highest professional standards, to protect our rights and provide means for solving and dealing with our common problems.
