Orlando Museum of Art
A roof leak occurred when the roofer hired to replace the roof at the museum did not follow proper protocol for the removal of the old roof. This resulted in an ongoing water intrusion into the building which lasted for almost two weeks. When the museum contacted their insurance carrier they were told the adjuster would determine the damages after conducting a site investigation. After his site visit, the adjuster explained that he did not feel that the loss would exceed the deductible of $2,500. Our involvement resulted in the carrier paying over $200,000.00 to resolve the claim.
