On October 24, 2005 Hurricane Wilma severely damaged an upscale penthouse unit located in Aventura, Florida. Among the many damages from heavy winds and rain were multiple leaks on a second-story roof, ruined premium wood flooring, and extensive content items. After the owner of the tower suite was initially denied coverage and the insurance company's long delay in responding, Public Adjuster Rick Tutwiler of Tutwiler and Associates was hired to help resolve the issues delaying this claim. Three adjusters later and much to the satisfaction of the client, Mr. Tutwiler helped recover $556,342.00 for the insured.
