Tutwiler Professional Certified Public Adjusters

Prior to joining Tutwiler and Associates, Inc., Tom was involved in the cleaning and restoration industry for 15 years as an owner/operator of a restoration firm.  His work has taken him to Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Montana, and Florida.  With his experience and education in the restoration industry, Tom has received the Master Water Damage Restorer and Master Fire Damage Restorer Designations.  This arms Tom with an in depth knowledge of the process and standards for water and fire mitigation.  Tom has a Level 2 certification from Xactimate, which is the software used to create mitigation/repair estimates, and provides training to various organizations on the estimating process.  Originally licensed as an independent adjuster, set to work for the insurance carriers, Tom realized that was not the path he wanted to follow.  He then earned his all lines public adjuster license in order to be an advocate for the policy holder.  Tom attended Western Michigan University where he received a Bachelors in Engineering and Applied Sciences.  Married to his wife Lorrie, they have three children.  He is a certified diver and a high school football coach.
